These terms govern your use of Sachemo (“Sachemo”, “we”, “us”), a curated marketplace for Georgian handmade goods operated by [Company Name], registered in Georgia under company number [00000000] with its registered office at [Registered Address], Tbilisi, Georgia. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. Our role as a marketplace
Sachemo connects independent makers and brands (“makers”) with customers in Georgia. Each product is sold by the maker listing it, who is the seller of record for that item. Sachemo provides the platform, curation, payment processing and customer support tooling, and charges makers a 15% commission on completed sales. We are not the manufacturer or seller of the goods unless expressly stated.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
3. Orders and contracts
A product listing is an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer. When you place an order we confirm receipt by email; a binding sales contract between you and the maker is formed only when the order is accepted and dispatched. If an item is unavailable or mispriced we may decline the order and refund any amount charged.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in Georgian Lari (GEL) and include applicable taxes where indicated. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider.
5. Shipping and delivery
Delivery times are estimates provided by the maker or carrier. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If an order arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable time, contact us so we can help resolve it with the maker.
6. Returns and refunds
Returns are handled under our Returns & Refunds policy, which explains how returns work, the exceptions, and how to return an item.
7. Intellectual property
All content on Sachemo — including product photography, maker stories, logos and the platform itself — is owned by Sachemo or its makers and may not be copied or reused without permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- interfere with the security or operation of the service;
- scrape, copy or resell listings, or misrepresent your identity or a product.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, Sachemo is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, and our aggregate liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Nothing in them limits the mandatory consumer protections you have under Georgian law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted; the version that applied when you placed an order governs that order.
