Only verified buyers can reviewRioni Atelier began as a two-bench leather workshop above a bakery in Kutaisi and now also keeps a small knitting room next door. Leather is vegetable-tanned, cut by hand and saddle-stitched with waxed linen thread, which takes longer than a machine seam and outlasts one.
The wool is spun in Racha and dyed with madder, walnut husk and indigo, so the colours settle rather than fade.
