Only verified buyers can reviewAlaverdi Studio works out of a converted grain store in Telavi, where the clay is thrown on the wheel, glazed by hand and fired twice in a single small kiln. Everything is made for daily use rather than display — dishwasher-safe, lead-free, and heavy enough to hold its heat.
Glazes are mixed in batches of a few kilos at a time, so colour shifts slightly from one firing to the next. We think that is the point.
